My hobbies include hanging out with my friends, browsing the internet on the various online railroad forums I'm a member of, graphic design and, obviously, model railroading! While my focus is N-scale right now, I also enjoy railfanning the prototype whenever I get a chance. Around here, within a minute walk, that's The Windsor & Hantsport Railway Company Limited, an "Iron Roads" shortline. If I feel like driving, both VIA Rail and Canadian National are under an hour away. Also, I'm a member of the local live-steam railroad...a 1:8 scale (1 1/2 inch-per-foot) ride-on railroad with about a mile-long loop of track in a park-like setting. The Trecothic Creek & Windsor Railway, or TCWR, is home to a live-steam Mikado, as well as many other gas and electric locomotives and a fleet of riding cars. We also have a couple live-steam traction engines, designed off prototypes in the UK and Britain.

That would have been me over the summer...hair is about the same length now, give or take a bit.
