Our news and article features cover the widest range of subjects of interest to the N scale community. Find N Scale related information on layout design and planning, DCC, scenery, prototype research, and more! With so many N scale related features there is something for (almost) everyone!
This site was built by Todd, the site Admin. It's maintained by group of dedicated moderators; me included, and visited by a small army of people! I visit this site frequently, going by the name of "Siderod" (can I get a 'duh'?). Feel free to come on over and Join the fun!!

--Railroad Snow fighting

--A site about all the machines and methods of fighting Mother Nature's worst.
This site was built and maintained by Paul Strubeck. He is an HO-scale modeler, and is very passionate about all different types of railroad snow fighting equipment and snow removal methods. A very dedicated person indeed.

--King of Trains

--A small Father/son Layout Project, outlined from start to finish.
This site is hosted by Jesse Helmick of Nevada. He and his son, Josh, have been working hard on this layout for some time now and it has reached a stage which most people would consider "complete", but not Jesse! Nope, he's a true Railroader...not happy until you can spend hours picking out the details! And for that, we salute you!

--Virtual Rail Riders

--A Rail-Dedicated Online Forum with Picture Gallery and Many Discussions.
This forum is also hosted by Jesse Helmick of Nevada. Jesse and I started this forum in February, as we felt it was something that we could make work, and have success with in the process, as well as have fun, enjoy ourselves and do something to benefit the Railroading community. Stop by and say hey.

--Spillage Loco-Works

--"N" Scale Locomotive Workshop
Spillage Locomotive Works is the place for locomotive repairs and Decoder install work. The owner, Bryan Harries, is an experienced N-scale railroader and is also very good with a milling machine. Throw the two in the same package, and you'd be amazed what can come out of it! I'm a very satisfied customer of SLW (Spillage Loco-Works), and will be going back for more work in the future. His prices are very competitive and he's a pleasure to deal with. A major PLUS in my books! Check it out, and tell him Siderod Sent you!

--Dan Nowicki's Lights

--A very en-LIGHT-ening website
Dan is a great guy, and he makes some great light products in several scales, including N & HO. He's not against custom work, and is very reasonable with his prices, considering his products are hand made brass, and his orders are made-to-order when you contact him with your desires. A very nice person and a pleasure to work with. And tell him Siderod Sent you!

--MFMR May Convention

--May 5th, 6th and 7th
This website contains all the information needed in order to make plans to come see the Maritime Federation of Model Railroaders (MFMR) annual convention. This year, it's being held at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, on Lower Water Street, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. If information you need isn't found on that website, an e-mail to the webmaster of that site (Jim Taylor), or myself could provide any information you need.

More to Come Soon!
